Happy Winter Solstice

Today is the first day of winter and right on cue  everything is covered in a thick coating of ice as sweet as the frosting on your sugar cookie. The Winter Solstice

has great meaning for me. Whatever mystery you chose to celebrate this time of year, chances are it can be traced back to the ancient rituals of the winter solstice.
